Safety
To provide members with an awareness of safety and health issues as they pertain to their companies, the construction industry and themselves. May be asked to provide content for NAWIC publications and/or conferences, to develop training courses and seminars, to work with NAWIC-OSHA Ambassador. The committee is comprised of the National Chair, Co-Chair, Regional Safety and Health Committee Chair and chapter(s) level. Ensure that NAWIC members and their companies have access to the information and tools needed to not only create a safe work environment for themselves but also the communities that surround them in their work and personal lives.

Brief description of responsibilities:

Educate members on safety initiatives and updates from OSHA.

Assign a member to do a safety share at each membership meeting.

Create content for safety awareness for social media posts and newsletter.

Promote Chapter, Regional and National Safety Awards.
